Our research methodology is built around the 4Cs – chips, components, connectors, and cables – that comprise avionics systems. We've studied aviation communications extensively, and one trend that has been common across all applications is the significant impact of component technologies on the costs of implementing new systems, which in turn determines deployment schedules . Therefore, whether we're covering cockpit video, ACARS transmissions, or in-flight broadband, we look at entire networks – from the semiconductors and transceivers to the user interfaces and applications.
