Freesky Research was founded in February 2007 to provide market insights for technology developers, sales and marketing organizations, and institutional investors. All of our research activities are guided by three foundation principles :

We do not provide quotes for vendor press releases, and are encouraged that more of our peers are embracing a non-biased approached to technology analysis. We are very happy to see our industry evolving beyond the PR extension role it often served in the late 1990s.
2. Sell Market Insights, not Market Information
We believe the value of any research finding is equal to the decisions it inspires. Therefore, we do not leave clients hanging with "jury is out" inconclusiveness, or engage in theoretical scenario planning exercises that try to describe the future, but do little to help plan for it.
Additionally, with so much free information on the Web, we don't fill our reports up with press release summaries or news aggregation, we offer that for free throughout this website on the news feeds.
